Nice Ride but ONE issue...
By GregĀ |Ā on Thursday, December 23, 2021
This has been a good choice in vehicles. It rides well, very comfortable, decent sound system, good mileage, adaptive cruise and lane assist work well. My only issue is the noise levels. There is little to no soundproofing or insulation. Even the underside of the hood is bare.⦠- 4.0
Loved it until this morning
By TĀ |Ā on Tuesday, May 19, 2020
Really loved the car. Was quite comfortable and had decent mileage. Then this morning our 5 month old 2020 Rav4 AWD XLE premium, driven daily. I parked it for 16 hours overnight. This morning battery was dead, nothing was left on. Checked it out at 5.59 volts on the Fluke meter. By the time the tow truck showed up a half hour later it's at 5.49. Something is very wrong here. After checking online it seems this is not an isolated case. Many 2020 Rav4's with dead batteries and no resolution from Toyota. I bought this because our 2018 Rav4 was so reliable. Now I don't know if I can trust this car. Toyota better fix this issue or I'm not going to buy another car from them!⦠- 2.0
Too much road noise, some rattling and fuel tank
By SeymourĀ |Ā on Sunday, August 02, 2020
Can hear a fair amount of road noise when driving and rattling inside, car seems on the unstable side while driving, car is advertised to have a 14.5 gallon fuel tank, but what they donāt disclose to you if you buy one it only fills up to about 10 gallons then the pump clicks off, your suppose to get 580 miles to empty on a full tank but since the pump clicks off before the tank is full you only get around 400 miles to empty, looked online to discover this started with the 2019ās when Toyota redesigned the fuel tank but they are still selling the vehicle without telling customers about this issue and still saying it has a 14.5 gallon tank and youāll get 580 miles to empty on a full tank but with the changes they made to the fuel tank in 2019 that cause the pump to click off before the tank is full getting 14.5 gallons and or the 580 miles to empty is misleading, I contacted Toyota they said they know about it and are working on a solution but why is it taking so long, they did the redesign of the RAV4 hybrids fuel tanks in 2019 which according to Toyota is the cause of the issue, itās now over halfway to 2021 still they havenāt fixed the problem and their dealerships continue to sell this vehicle without disclosing the fuel tank problem.ā¦
